Step 2. Before colouring your artwork try practising your technique on a scrap piece of paper. Use a cotton bud to apply the paint. Draw a petal similar to the shape you have used in your original. At the base of the petal apply lots of yellow dots close together in a random method, and gradually use fewer dots spacing them further apart as you move to the top of the shape. With a fresh bud, apply some orange dots over the top using the same technique.
